Stag Party Off Road Driving Testimonials

When I finally got to organise my best mates stag do it gave us the perfect excuse to try a 4x4 off-road driving experience. A few of us (including the stag) had been wanting to give it a go for ages, and his big day gave us the perfect opportunity.

Once I'd checked the date with the lads I got our off-road driving experienced booked in for all six of us, and I couldn't wait to finally put a 4x4 through its paces. On the day of the stag we all met at the site, and after signing in it was pretty much straight down to action. We had a short briefing to complete first though, but it was really helpful and covered some different driving techniques we'd need to conquer the course.

The 4x4s we drove were specially kitted out Land Rover Defenders, and they looked like they could handle pretty much any obstacle – even if we couldn't! We took on the course in groups of three, and thankfully we had an instructor with us too, because if we were on our own some of the lads would still be stuck there now.

The week before our off-road driving experience it had been absolutely hammering it down so the course was even trickier than normal, but all the extra mud and puddles definitely made it more fun. Having the lads in the back didn't make things any easier either, but I got my own back when we swapped drivers! The instructor taught us loads of different off-road driving techniques as we worked our way round the course, and we came up against all the classic off-road obstacles like hills and ditches. We even had to cross a river which was seriously hairy, but thankfully we managed to get round in one piece.

The lads loved taking on the course and I'd definitely recommend an off-road driving experience, especially if you're a bit of a petrol head like me. 4X4 driving was even better than we'd expected so we'll definitely be back, even if it means having to take the long walk down the aisle!
